In an update to an earlier report about a VP departure from AEW, another AEW original has been noted as out of the company soon.
According to an earlier report from Fightful Select, the Vice President of Live Events & Touring, Rafael Morffi is finishing up with AEW at the end of the year.
Rafael Morffi has previous experience in both WWE and TNA Wrestling however has recently ‘teased new opportunities’ and is ‘expected to be pursuing other interests in 2024’ according to the report.
In an update to the report, it was noted that Morffi will be doing work with the Barclay’s Center in the future.
Elsewhere in an update to the report, it is noted that another notable AEW original is now slated to be ‘set to finish up’ with AEW.
Chief Marketing & Merchandising Officer Dana Massie will also reportedly be ending her time with AEW.
The is married to Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks.
The news comes amid other notable recent backstage departures at All Elite Wrestling including QT Marshall and Vice President of Post Production Kevin Sullivan.
