‘Hangman’ Adam Page apparently suffered a serious injury on the February 21 episode of AEW Dynamite in the main event.

In a match that featured Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland and Brian Cage versus HOOK, Page and RVD, the Hangman seemed to pick up an injury during a moment with the AEW World Champion.
Post match, he was seen having difficulty walking when he was making his way from the ring.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez have now provided an update on Page and what appears to be a serious injury, saying:
Bryan Alvarez: “He has to have it looked at. Could be a broken ankle.”
Dave Meltzer: “Yeah that’s what I heard.”
Alvarez: “It does appear to be a serious ankle injury. Sometimes we have people getting injured and we don’t know anything about it, they don’t say anything, but this guy is fighting for the World Title in a little over a week, so if he’s got a broken ankle, I think we’re gonna hear about it real quick, because they’re gonna have to come up with something.”

Adam Page is currently set to challenge for the AEW World Championship in a three-way against Swerve Strickland and current champion Samoa Joe at AEW Revolution on March 3, 2024.
We’ll keep you updated if that changes.
Highlights from the trios match, which saw RVD succumb to Samoa Joe, can be seen below this news story.
