AEW star and former two-time TNT Champion Christian Cage says he could give “two s**ts” about a WWE Hall of Fame induction.

On the May 1 edition of AEW Dynamite, Christian Cage was revealed by The Young Bucks as Swerve Strickland’s challenger for the AEW World Title at Double Or Nothing 2024.
Prior to his arrival in All Elite Wrestling back in 2021, Cage enjoyed two successful stints in WWE where he is a former two-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Being forced to retire due to injuries, he made his return to in-ring action at WWE Royal Rumble 2021 before eventually reinventing himself in AEW.

Speaking at Steel City Con, a fan asked Christian Cage whether he agreed that he belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame. He answered:
“I could give two shits about the Hall of Fame. When there actually is a Hall of Fame, let me know. Is there an actual Hall of Fame? Right.”

On his current run in AEW being the greatest run of his legendary career, Christian said:
“I’ve enjoyed all my runs,”
“At 50 years old, I’m the best wrestler in the world, and I don’t think that’s debatable at all. I’m definitely the best on the microphone. I’m the best in the ring, bell to bell. No one can touch me.”
“So yeah, I would say this is probably the greatest run of my career.”

Christian Cage will challenge Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship on Sunday, May 26 at AEW Double Or Nothing 2024.
