Following his departure from the company, released WWE star Cameron Grimes has teased his debut in All Elite Wrestling.
After nearly five years with the promotion, Cameron Grimes was released from WWE in April 2024.
Since then, Grimes, also known as Trevor Lee, has kept his cards to his chest on his next move in professional wrestling while he is still in his non-compete phase.
On the May 15 edition of AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks defeated Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal in an eliminator match. Post match, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson fired Daniels for putting his hands on them the week prior.
On May 16, Matt Sydal took to social media to react to the firing of Christopher Daniels. He wrote:
Bring back @facdaniels @AEW

In response to Sydal’s tweet, Cameron Grimes teased a potential AEW debut by the former WWE star’s side. He replied:
So what you’re saying is you need a tag partner?
