A new AEW team has seemingly been confirmed, following reports about plans for a new group.
It was recently reported that there has been some talk about building a faction around former ROH Women’s World Champion Deonna Purrazzo.
While the members of this new group were unclear, AEW appears to have confirmed that Taya Valkyrie will be part of this alliance.
The duo shared an interesting tease on Friday’s (September 20) edition of AEW Rampage, with Deonna noting that she has amassed a network of friends over the course of her career, who are willing to repay her generosity.
Taya Valkyrie then walked into frame, and Deonna Purrazzo stated:
“If you think I am dangerous, just wait until you see this thing of ours.”

Purrazzo had been associated with Taya Valkyrie in storyline during her feud with Thunder Rosa this past summer.
Purrazzo last wrestled on the September 6 Collision episode, losing to Hikaru Shida in singles action. Valkyrie hasn’t wrestled since suffering a loss to Mina Shirakawa on the September 5 ROH episode.
