A top AEW star has brought back an old fan-favorite catchphrase from his time in WWE following this week’s AEW Collision (December 16).

In yet another match from the Continental Classic’s Blue League, Bryan Danielson took on Brody King.
With both men at six points in the standings going into the final matches next week (December 23), the main event match carried high-stakes.
With the chance to go joint-top of the Blue League alongside Andrade El Idolo, King and Danielson fought for over 15 minutes, however it was Danielson who came out on top.
When celebrating with the crowd inside Garland, TX’s Curtis Culwell Center, a familiar ‘YES’ chant broke out, something that despite Danielson retiring when he left WWE, has continued to follow him through his AEW run.

In footage captured by AEW cameras after Collision went off the air, Danielson would give the people what they wanted and bring the ‘YES’ chant back from the dead.
You can check out footage of the cathartic moment down below.
Next week’s crucial final Blue League matches will see Danielson take on fellow Blackpool Combat Club member Claudio Castagnoli.

Elsewhere Eddie Kingston will face-off with Andrade El Idolo and Brody King takes on the winless Daniel Garcia.
