A big change is being made to a piece of AEW programming that’s set to run on the same night as WWE WrestleMania 40.

It has emerged that the April 6 episode of Collision is set to air at 11:30pm ET following NCAA basketball, which is three and a half hours later than the show’s typical slot of 8pm.
It’s unknown exactly why this change was made, and whether it was an AEW-led change or one made by their network TNT.

As seen on many occasions in the past, AEW’s weekly Saturday night program Collision has not fared particularly well when airing on the same night as previous WWE Premium Live Events.
WrestleMania 40 is scheduled to start at 7pm ET, and for what its worth, each night of last year’s WrestleMania 39 event ran for just over four hours in length.

If that is the case again this year, this new time slot for Collision should provide fans the means to tune in to both shows if they wish.
This episode of Collision of course won’t be live, instead being taped on Wednesday, April 3 after Dynamite in Worcester, Massachusetts.
