Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns recently reached 1000 days as the Universal Champion in WWE.
Reigns’ run continued when he defeated Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 39 night two back in April, with Reigns yet to make a defence of the title since then.
If you only kept track of WWE television, Reigns has still yet to defend his title since then, but he made his first post-WrestleMania defence of the title at last night’s WWE Live Event in Cincinnati.
Reigns defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Rey Mysterio in the show’s main event.
The show also featured the in-ring return of Bobby Lashley, who has not competed since the World Heavyweight Championship tournament semi-final.

– Undisputed Tag Team Titles: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn (c) defeated Judgment Day’s Finn Balor & Dominik Mysterio
– United States Title: Austin Theory (c) defeated Sheamus with his feet on the ropes. Sheamus Brogue Kicks Theory after the match.
– Bobby Lashley defeated Karrion Kross (w/ Scarlett). Lashley had not wrestled since the World Heavyweight Title Tourney
– Shotzi, Zelina Vega, Michin & Becky Lynch defeated Chelsea Green, Zoey Stark, Bayley and IO SKY. This got really good reviews from the live audience
– World Heavyweight Title: Seth Rollins (c) defeated Damian Priest. Dominik Mysterio tried to interfere.
– Alpha Academy defeated Viking Raiders.
– Intercontinental Title: Gunther (c) def
eated Shinsuke Nakamura and Matt Riddle after pinning Nakamura.
– WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) (w/ Solo Sikoa & Paul Heyman) defeated Rey Mysterio
