WWE stars Elton Prince and Kit Wilson of Pretty Deadly want to give the WWE Tag Team Championship belts a makeover.

Fans have been treated to numerous title reveals in recent months, with Triple H introducing the World Heavyweight Championship in April.
Since then, a new design for the WWE Undisputed Universal Title has been unveiled, and the Raw and SmackDown women’s titles have been replaced with the WWE Women’s and Women’s World titles.
All of this new gold has led to speculation that new tag title straps will be unveiled soon, especially as the Raw and SmackDown titles have mostly been presented as one unified title over the past year.

Speaking on WWE’s The Bump ahead of their upcoming title match, Elton Prince stated that he and Wilson have agreed to change up the tag titles if they beat Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, noting:
“Well, there’s a very important part of this beautiful belt that’s missing.
“And it’s this thing right here because what we need is we need to apply, you know, something, as we said earlier, a little more je ne sais quoi.
“We need to add on a little PD, and then when we win them, we’ll hit them with the side plate check! Because we will be champions.”

The real reason why Triple H has introduced so many new title belts has now been revealed.
Pretty Deadly will challenge for Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens’ gold on the June 30 episode of SmackDown in London, England, the night before Money in the Bank.
