A popular WWE star has thrown out a speculative challenge to English Monarch King Charles III for a match at London’s Money in the Bank on July 1.

Speaking to The Daily Star, SmackDown’s LA Knight seemed to divert his attention away from the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match and onto the Royal Family, calling out the “old and beaten down” King of England.

Knight said:
“I gotta go to the top man and run for King Charles.
“I know he’s old and beaten down and you know busted up, but I’ve got to take the crown.”

While it remains to be seen if the 74-year-old will take up Knight’s challenge, WWE’s megastar has certainly been building momentum ahead of his trip to the 02 Arena.
Knight’s popularity has hit a fever pitch with WWE’s audience, frequently getting some the loudest responses among the entire roster.

This upward trajectory seems to have placed Knight as one of the favorites to climb the ladder and claim the guaranteed title opportunity inside.
However, the recent addition of popular social media star Logan Paul has perhaps made that result less clear, as Paul joins Knight, Butch, Santos Escobar, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ricochet and Damian Priest in the final lineup for the match.
