Calls for FDA to investigate a top WWE star’s outside venture have been revealed.

On July 9, The Associated Press reported that The FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration), has been called upon to investigate PRIME, which is the energy drink backed by top WWE star Logan Paul.
Senator Charles Schumer called upon the FDA to investigate the company in how the drink is marketed due to it containing as much caffeine as six cans of Coca-Cola.

While the brand is marketed for 18 and above, Schumer mentions that a separate drink, the caffeine-free PRIME Hydration from the same company, is not marketed differently enough from the energy drink.
This has created confusion among parents who might believe PRIME is appropriate for their children.  Schumer also argues the marketing is intentionally tempting to children.

The PRIME brand was prominently featured at WrestleMania 39 during Paul’s match against Seth Rollins. This included KSI dressed as a PRIME bottle mascot getting involved in the bout.
Logan Paul recently competed in the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match where he came up short to Damian Priest following a death defying Spanish Fly botch through two tables. Paul will appear on the July 10 edition of WWE Raw to confront Ricochet.
