John Cena has shared a message for The Rock following his surprise WWE return on Friday Night SmackDown.
In the opening segment of the September 15 edition of SmackDown, Rock returned to confront Austin Theory alongside Pat McAfee.
In a backstage segment later on in the show, the Rock and John Cena crossed paths.
Following a brief staredown, the WrestleMania 28 and 29 main eventers hugged it out.
Cena has now taken to Twitter to officially welcome The Rock back, writing:

While the Rock’s WWE future is uncertain, Cena will be sticking around for a while.
Following his recent appearances at Payback and Superstar Spectacle, Cena is now slated to appear at every SmackDown taping from now to the end of October.
