An injured WWE star has been seen at the Performance Center this week.

Fans have not seen Randy Orton on WWE programming since May 2022 when he and Matt Riddle lost to The Usos in an Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match.
The 14-time WWE World Champion has been sidelined with a serious back injury, but there have been various reports that Orton may be on his way back.
Despite rumours of his return around SummerSlam 2023, “The Legend Killer” has yet to appear in a WWE ring.
Per Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, WWE sources confirmed that Randy Orton has been seen at the Performance Center this week.

A full report from Fightful Select adds that Orton has been “working out in the gym”, but hadn’t resumed in-ring training as of early August.
WWE has a strict rule that talents have to work out in some capacity when they’re on their way to making a return.
WrestleOps also shared a video of Orton at the PC that was sent to them by a fan, as you can see below.

As has been covered plenty, Orton has said he wants to return to the ring even though he’s been advised against doing so.
JJA Sport Studio will provide further updates on Randy Orton’s health status when they become available.
