The individual who decided that Triple H should be in charge of WWE creative over Vince McMahon has now been revealed.

While we’ve had a number of significant changes to the WWE creative teams since Paul Levesque (Triple H) was named the Chief Content Officer in July 2022, a recent report indicated that Triple H has now taken over “99.9%” of the company’s creative reins.
Several reports have noted that Vince McMahon is not currently involved in the WWE creative process.
Per Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel is behind this change.

The report noted:
“Multiple contacts within the WWE and UFC have confirmed that Ari Emanuel, who wields power as the Endeavor CEO, is behind the change.
“Emanuel has long been a firm believer that, in order for an organization to be as effective as possible, people need to do the job they are assigned.
“In this case, that approach has empowered Levesque to exert his full influence in the company’s creative sphere.”

WWE now operates as part of TKO Group Holdings, following its merger with UFC under Endeavor.
Triple H appeared on last night’s SmackDown, introducing Nick Aldis as the new General Manager of SmackDown.
