With his five-year singles losing streak on the line, John Cena looked to finally turn his fortunes around by defeating The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa at WWE Crown Jewel 2023.

Ahead of the match WWE and Cena himself had played up the unfortunate streak, leading many to believe that the 16-time world champion would finally break his duck.
Unfortunately for Cena that did not happen.
Instead, Sikoa would not only add to Cena’s misery, but utterly destroy the so-called ‘Greatest of All-Time.’
Dishing out perhaps Cena’s most lopsided loss since his infamous mauling at the hands of Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam 2014, Sikoa would put Cena away after delivering a Samoan Spike after Samoan Spike on a lifeless Cena.

This would leave the result a formality, with Sikoa picking up the win, undoubtedly the biggest of his career thus far.
After Sikoa exited the ring and Cena made his way back to his feet, he was greeted by applause from the audience in Riyadh as Michael Cole sang his praises and reiterated that he was the G.O.A.T.
While it has not yet been confirmed, Cena’s current WWE run was said to be running until Crown Jewel, with the 46-year-old set to return to Hollywood following the eventual conclusion of SAG-AFTRA and WGA strike action.

Considering the send-off Cena received after the bell, it does seem that Cena will in fact be finishing up with WWE for now.
However, we may perhaps already received a hint as to when we can perhaps expect to see Cena again in a WWE ring.
Following his loss Cena posted to his infamously cryptic Instagram account, uploading a picture of football legend David Beckham.

The picture in question (see below) is of Beckham playing for French Champions Paris St Germain, which some have taken as a hint towards a potential appearance at Backlash 2024, which is reportedly being considered to take place in Paris, France.
Others have taken the image as Cena teasing his retirement as the photo is said to be from Beckham’s final match before his own retirement.
Cena’s Instagram posts often seem completely random, but there are definitely multiple things that could be read into the Beckham post, which went up just minutes after his loss.

Saudi Arabia is paying WWE a lot of money for sport shaming. Saudi Arabia government is guilty of human rights violations for giving people with an alternative sexual orientation to the death penalty also the prince of Saudi Arabia had journalist Jamal Khashoggi murdered for exposing the truth about the royal family of Saudi Arabia.
