WWE NIL signing Haley Cavinder has committed to play her final year in college basketball at Texas Christian University.

Cavinder, along with her twin Hanna, signed NIL deals in late 2021 and have since made several appearances for WWE.
In an October 2023 interview, the agent for the Cavinder Twins, Jeff Hoffman, revealed that there had been “deep and heavy conversations with WWE.”

It would also be noted that Hanna had graduated from the WWE NIL program with details needing to be ‘ironed out” for what’s to come next.
As for Haley Cavinder, she has confirmed that she will be returning to TCU’s women’s basketball team “the last rodeo” in a post on Instagram.

As noted by ESPN, the Cavinders ‘initially announced in April that they were retiring from basketball, but Haley decided to enter the transfer portal in October, opting to use her extra year of eligibility granted to all college basketball athletes during the COVID-19 pandemic.’
She had previously stated that she had ‘initially anticipated coming back for a fifth season’ but didn’t want to play without Hanna who was ‘ready to move on from the sport.’
ESPN also noted that Haley Cavinder would be ‘eligible to suit up for the 2024/25 season’.
