Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns may be set to miss yet another major WWE event in 2024.

In 2023, Roman Reigns has notoriously been an elusive figure on WWE TV, defending his title only on five occasions and wrestling a total of seven matches overall on TV/PLEs.
This has led to some frustration from fans who would obviously prefer to see the most prestigious title in the company defended on a more regular basis.
While we don’t know how much longer Reigns will extend his over-three-year title reign, a recent advertisement for a major 2024 WWE Premium Live Event suggests that we should maybe expect more of the same from the Tribal Chief’s schedule next year.
In WWE’s recent advertisement for their first-ever German PLE, Bash in Berlin on August 31, 2024, Roman Reigns is glaringly absent from the promotional material for the event and the August 30 SmackDown which is also being held in the German capital.

While this is by no means confirmation of Reigns’ absence, given the fact tickets for the event go on sale on November 30, one would imagine the company would promote Reigns as an extra selling point for the shows if he was going to be present.
Stars featured on the posters for SmackDown include Charlotte Flair, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, Rey Mysterio, LA Knight and The Bloodline’s Jimmy Uso.
While for Bash in Berlin WWE are featuring Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Drew McIntyre, GUNTHER, Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.

Many expect Rhodes to be the one to challenge Reigns for his title once again at WrestleMania 40, so perhaps the event will feature both world champions if Rhodes does in fact dethrone the Head of the Table, however we will have to of course wait and see.
Stay tuned to JJA Sport Studio for any future updates on Reigns’ scheduling for 2024.
