Amid speculation of a potential WWE return for CM Punk at Survivor Series, here is what WWE talent reportedly think of him.
Punk’s departure from AEW earlier this year came after a backstage incident at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium, which itself came just a few months after his return following his torn tricep.
Punk appeared backstage at an episode of WWE Raw in Chicago back in June, when he was said to speak with The Miz and Triple H after his previous issues with both men.
There is also said to be issues between Punk and several top names in WWE, most notably Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, that would need to be amended should Punk return to the company.
Per Fightful Select, there is still plenty of heat on Punk withing the company, with some amends that would need to be made.
There were some in the company optimistic when he appeared backstage at Raw ad spoke to Miz and Triple H, but the unfortunate events in AEW didn’t necessarily keep that feeling lasting long.
To reiterate, as of the latest word, CM Punk is NOT expected to be at Survivor Series. At the moment, any suggestion that he will be there is just fans hoping/guessing. It’s also not been ruled out as impossible.
