Drew McIntyre is a very angry man following the return of Randy Orton at WWE Survivor Series on November 25, 2023.

Randy Orton’s return saw him team with Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins to defeat Drew McIntyre and The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) in the WarGames match.
Since then, Orton would appear on the November 27 episode of WWE Raw, setting out his objectives for his return to the ring.
He would reveal that he has a “bag full of receipts for The Bloodline” and promised to face “every single member” of the group.
That night would see him face and defeat Dominik Mysterio in his first singles match back.

With the issues with The Bloodline still on Orton’s mind, Jey Uso would approach the him backstage at WWE Raw, as can be seen below.
Reaffirming that he was no longer associated with the Bloodline, Uso said that Cody Rhodes giving him a “second on Raw” meant that the “past is the past.”
Orton, for his part, would reflect on the role Jey Uso had taken since he had come to WWE Raw and the faith others had in him, and ultimately looks to have forgiven him.

Before his return, Orton’s last match saw RK-Bro lose the Raw Tag Team Championship to Jimmy and Jey Uso in a title unification match on SmackDown in May 2022.
This came off the back of a long-running feud with the Bloodline which saw McIntyre team with RK-Bro to take on The Usos and Roman Reigns at WWE WrestleMania Backlash on May 8, 2022 in a losing effort.

With the extensive history between Orton and The Bloodline, particularly The Usos, Drew McIntyre tweeted a reaction to the conversation between Jey and Randy, clearly not happy that Orton has let things go so easily, commenting:

McIntyre’s storyline for a while now is that he is not willing to forgive Jey Uso, yet he’s watching everyone around him do exactly that.
Regarding reported backstage issues at the end of Survivor Series involving McIntyre, at the following Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, things had calmed down with it being reported that he was in “good spirits.”
