WWE believe that a long-absent star can be utilised in a special “attraction” role according to a new report.

Despite being consistently featured under Vince McMahon’s creative, since Triple H took charge, there has seemingly been less room on TV for the 7ft 3in Nigerian Giant Omos.
While Omos has been featured in high-profile feuds against Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins in 2023, both of them came in the Spring, with very little seen of the former Raw Tag Team Champion since then.
In fact, aside from a random appearance in the Slim Jim Battle Royal at SummerSlam, Omos has been off TV completely since losing to Rollins at Backlash back in May.

Although Omos has been off TV for much of the year, he has continued to compete on WWE’s live events; most recently facing Akira Tozawa on December 17 in Rochester, Minnesota.
Now, as fans question the likelihood of seeing Omos back on TV, a new report has shed light on WWE’s current thinking-process regarding the 29-year-old.
According to Fightful Select, WWE feel like Omos can be used in an “attraction” role, with a lack of creative pitches being made for his return to TV.

With major WWE Premium Live Events such as the 2024 Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 40 on the horizon, it will be interesting whether the company bring Omos back to TV to fulfil this role in some capacity.
