CM Punk has made his WWE in-ring return at at WWE Holiday Live at Madison Square Garden, much to the delight of the New York crowd.
With the New York City crowd clearly delighted to see him, CM Punk made a memorable return to WWE tonight at the December 26 WWE Holiday Live event.
CM Punk took on ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio at tonight’s live show ahead of several appearances confirmed for Punk into the new year.
Unsurprisingly, Punk was victorious in the match.
CM Punk hit a thunderous GTS on Dominik Mysterio and picked up the pinfall victory.
Of note to those of us who closely correlate attire with character choices, it should be noted that this iteration of Punk was wearing black trunks.
While Punk is not scheduled for the ‘Day 1’ edition of WWE Raw, he is scheduled to appear on January 8 in Portland, Oregon and January 22 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Of course, CM Punk is also set to to appear in Tampa at the premium live event, WWE Royal Rumble on January 27.
