As WWE continues its build to WrestleMania 40, The Rock has promised to do something that hasn’t been done before.

The Rock made his return at WWE Raw Day One on January 1, 2024, teasing the possibility of a match against Roman Reigns.
In a recent post on Instagram, The Rock has made a bold claim about what WWE fans can expect in the future.

Speaking in the video that can be seen below, The Rock addressed the reaction to his return:
“Yet again, just an incredible experience. Unforgettable. Every time I come back home to the WWE.
“There were moments where the hair on my arms and body was standing up.
“That kind of electricity, that kind of energy. Fans, you are just so f**king excited.
“Guys, it never, ever, ever, ever gets old.”

He would go on to praise the man he shared the ring with, Jinder Mahal, saying:
“I am so boundlessly grateful to get out there and not only connect with the audiences but get out there to rock and roll with whoever I’m dancing with.
“The guy in there tonight, Jinder Mahal – the guy’s a stud. He looks like a million bucks.
“It was great to mix it up with him, dropping those People’s Elbows on him. It was a really, really special night.”
“And on top of that, what made this whole thing unforgettable was what I said at the end.
“I’ll leave it at that. An incredible night.”

Booker T has recently called a possible Roman Reigns vs The Rock match at WrestleMania 40 a ‘no brainer‘.
With much of Cody Rhodes’ time in WWE revolving around finishing his story, details for why Reigns vs Rhodes may not happen at the upcoming PLE have been revealed.
Four days after WWE Day One on January 1, it would be revealed that The Rock’s return had become the most viewed clip in WWE history by the January 5 SmackDown New Year’s Revolution.
