A current WWE champion has pleaded with her fans for help on social media in order to find a ‘stolen’ set of ring gear.

On the same night as a scheduled match on this week’s NXT (January 16) Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria notified her followers that a set of gear had been lost or potentially stolen.
Writing in a post on Twitter, Valkyria requested that if anyone were to find the gear listed for sale online, to not purchase it but notify her of its listing instead.

Valkyria tweeted:

While this led to genuine concern from some fans in the comments, everything was quickly cleared up when Valkyria’s extremely keen protege Tatum Paxley showed up for their tag match with Elektra Lopez and Lola Vice dressed in matching gear to the champion.
This led to a follow up tweet from Valkyria afterwards, saying: “Nevermind”, to which Paxley responded with a smily face.
While later on in the show’s main event Valkyria’s new number one contender for her NXT Women’s Championship was crowned via a battle royal.
Roxanne Perez would ultimately win the match, setting up a title match between the two at NXT Vengeance Day on February 4.
