A WWE star has spoken about their role as an ‘elder statesman’ on the roster, and their desire to help the future generation.

Carlito made his WWE return at Backlash in Puerto Rico last year, where he received an incredible reaction from the crowd.
Despite the reaction, it took Carlito five more months to officially return to the company on a full-time basis, being revealed as the final member of the LWO’s team against Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits at Fastlane.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Carlito was asked about his goals for 2024, where he opened up on his desire to give back to the future generation.

He said:
“Probably to help out the younger guys. Help them develop and become bigger stars. I think that’s my main goal. Now I’m one of the elder statesmen, I think it’s my job now to get the future of the business ready, teach them what I know and help them become better stars because I can’t do the stuff they do now.
“It’s crazy all the athletic things they can do. Now, it’s just helping them put all of it together so they can really connect with an audience.”
