Former WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James has teased a return, making a request to her husband Nick Aldis.

Aldis, who currently serves as the onscreen SmackDown general manager, had a busy Friday (February 2).
Not only did he get Naomi to put pen to paper for the blue brand, it was also revealed that former NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has also joined the SmackDown roster.
Mickie James has now taken to Twitter to respond to a post claiming that these signings were Aldis’ most epic decisions since marrying James.

James interestingly replied:

Sharing a GIF of Steve Blackman making his entrance, Aldis replied:

James most recently wrestled for WWE as part of the 2022 Royal Rumble match. She was notably the TNA (IMPACT) Knockouts Women’s Champion at the time and appeared on WWE TV with the title belt.
While she hasn’t wrestled since October 2023, James joined Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) as the promotion’s Creative Director, Head of Female Talent and Executive Producer in January.
