WWE has warned fans about the use of inappropriate language and behaviour following explicit chants at a recent show.

At NXT Vengeance Day, Carmelo Hayes was officially revealed as the culprit behind the attack on Trick Williams, breaking up the pair following Trick’s NXT Championship match with Ilja Dragunov.
The following episode of NXT opened up with Carmelo Hayes coming to the ring, where he was drowned out by boos and chants from fans, including an explicit chant of ‘f**k you Melo’.

In an update from Fightful Select, ahead of this week’s NXT taping, fans in attendance were warned about last week’s chants, noting that swearing would lead to warnings, as well as potential ejections.
Following the show, rumours emerged online that the show could have been ‘taken off the air’ if the chants had continued.

Fightful also noted that, despite the rumours of such, there was ‘no chance’ that the show would have been taken off the air by the USA Network.
Hayes was in action on this week’s NXT, where he scored a victory over Joe Gacy.
WWE also taped next week’s episode of NXT following this week’s show due to a number of NXT agents being in Australia next week for company tryouts.
