CM Punk has addressed the possibility of him having another feud against The Rock, amid the Hollywood star’s current WWE run.

While Punk is out injured, he returned to WWE TV for a segment during Monday’s (March 25) edition of Raw in Chicago. The Rock also made an appearance on the show to confront Cody Rhodes, before brutally attacking the Royal Rumble winner ahead of WrestleMania.
With Punk’s hometown chanting for him during The Rock’s first segment with Rhodes, fans have once again been speculating about the possibility of Punk renewing his rivalry with The Great One.
In a WWE Digital Exclusive interview, CM Punk shared his honest thoughts on The Rock returning and not mentioning him.

Noting that he expects to cross paths with everyone at some point, Punk said:
“I’m glad. With confidence and perspective, I’m glad Rock’s back. It’s good to see that he knows his role and he’s kept his mouth shut.
“Anything goes here in this new era of WWE. Me being back, I’m gonna cross paths with everybody sooner or later.”

The Rock notably dethroned CM Punk at Royal Rumble 2013, pinning Punk for the WWE Championship to end the popular star’s 434 day reign with the gold.
They faced off in a rematch at that year’s Elimination Chamber event, which The Rock also won.
