Pat McAfee has heaped praise on a fellow WWE star for adapting to their new role “phenomenally” well.

Following the departure of Kevin Patrick from WWE SmackDown’s commentary desk (and WWE as a whole shortly thereafter) back in January, many speculated as to who would step into the role as the blue brand’s lead announcer.
To the surprise of some fans, that replacement ended up being none other than the man sat right next to Patrick at the SmackDown desk: Corey Graves – with Wade Barrett alongside him.
Up to that point Graves had exclusively served as a color commentator, so it was intriguing to many seeing how he’d adapt to the new role.
Now that he’s been in the new role for over two months, his Raw counterpart Pat McAfee has taken to Twitter to give his take on Graves’ performance.

Responding to a tweet from WrestleFeatures seeking opinion on how Graves has adapted to the role, McAfee wrote:

It’s not just McAfee who has had glowing words for Graves’ performance, with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H also hailing his performance on social media.
