WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio believes his son and Judgment Day member Dominik Mysterio is a future WWE Champion.

After becoming the first father and son duo to win WWE Tag Team gold, Dominik Mysterio turned on his father Rey Mysterio to join The Judgment Day in September 2022.
This led to the father and son facing one another in a highly anticipated WrestleMania 39 bout where Rey defeated “Dirty Dom.”
Since then, the on-screen animosity between the two men has not wavered, but it hasn’t stopped Rey from recognizing Dominik’s potential as an in-ring talent.

Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Rey Mysterio was asked whether he believes Dominik Mysterio is a future WWE Champion. He answered:
“Definitely. Most definitely. He’s getting really good at what he’s doing. And he’s understanding the craft.
“The fact that he’s where he’s at with such little time, I wish I could have been there with four years of being in the business. I didn’t know s**t at four years.
“The fact that he’s been able to be in there with the best – Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, John Cena. All these moments are moments that give you the ability to learn. I think he’s taking very good advantage of those moments.”

Rey will go one-on-one with Dominik Mysterio in a WrestleMania 39 rematch on this Monday’s July 1 edition of Monday Night Raw.
