The AEW tag team scene is changing. With the Young Bucks currently holding the tag team gold and as their reign of terror continues, the other teams are trying everything in their power to get noticed.

Unfortunately, not every team is gonna rise up, some are going to crumble under the pressure.
And it seems like some shocking developments could cause the end of some of those teams in All Elite Wrestling rather soon.

6. BULLET CLUB GOLD

Although they are currently holding all the trios gold that you can win in AEW and ROH, some fans believe this act has grown rather stale.
In addition, fans have been demanding a singles run for Jay White for a very long time.
He feels underused as part of the Bang Bang Gang.
Maybe t’s time to move on from tag team competition for good and see what else is there to achieve, much like their most recent foes…

5. THE ACCLAIMED

AEW stars The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass
The Acclaimed have been a team for a very long time and have held both tag team and trios gold in AEW.
But the era of scissoring is long gone and the crowd has been reacting less and less to Anthony Bowens and Max Caster.
Billy Gunn is turning 61 later this year.
It might be time for all of them go finally go their separate ways, at least for a while.

4. THE UNDISPUTED KINGDOM

AEW Adam Cole Undisputed Kingdom wwe
Let’s be real: How long are we still dragging this?
It would not be surprising if the Wardlow/Cole storyline is being rushed upon Adam Cole’s return to end this stable as quickly as it was formed.
Originally planned to be a top-level main event stable, the group has fallen from grace rather quickly.
Once Roderick Strong loses his championship, what does this group even do in AEW?

3. THE MOGUL EMBASSY

Another group that seemingly has nothing left to do in All Elite Wrestling.
Now that they attacked Swerve Strickland and therefore refused to appear alongside the AEW World Champion, what is next?
Bishop Kaun seems ready for a singles run. Where does this leave Brian Cage, Toa Liona and Prince Nana? We do not know.
At least for Prince Nana he might just be able to continue his management of Swerve Strickland. A situation that might also apply to another manager in AEW…

2. THE DON CALLIS FAMILY

Powerhouse Hobbs is injured, Will Ospreay is about to be done with Don Callis, and Kyle Fletcher may well end up siding with his friend Ospreay over Callis in the end.
This only leaves Konosuke Takeshita as part of the Family.
The members of the group are mostly having singles matches anyway, so maybe it’s time to just do Takeshita & Callis, and end the Family experiment.
They are not the only team that is not working together all that much anymore…

1. BLACKPOOL COMBAT CLUB

After William Regal left AEW, the Blackpool Combat Club was still able to celebrate major success as a group.
However, injuries, like the one to Wheeler Yuta right now, have continued to break their group momentum time and time again.
At Double or Nothing, Danielson is even teaming with an assortment of different wrestlers rather than his Blackpool Combat Club friends.
It seems like it is just time to shake hands and go their separate ways.
