A WWE star is set for their first match in nine months after being absent from TV but making a return last week.

Last Tuesday’s May 30 NXT played host to the reveal of the mystery attacker who’s been attacking women for months (usually as a cover for real-life injuries).
The attacker was Blair Davenport, who revealed herself in the ring after attacking Dani Palmer who’d called her out.

That naturally set up a match, and WWE has now announced Davenport vs Palmer for tomorrow’s June 6 NXT.
Davenport’s last match until this was at NXT Worlds Collide in September 2022 in the NXT Women’s Championship/NXT UK Women’s Championship unification three-way match that was won by Mandy Rose and also included Meiko Satomura.

One of the women who Davenport had attacked was Dani Palmer’s new tag team partner Sol Ruca (an example of it being done to cover a real-life injury), with reports that there were big plans for Ruca and Palmer to potentially even become tag team champions soon.
Also set for the June 6 NXT is Ava (The Rock’s daughter Simone Johnson) making her NXT TV debut in a six-person tag match with Schism against Diamond Mine, as well as Damon Kemp vs Eddy Thorpe, and a battle royal to determine Tiffany Stratton’s first challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship.
