Shayna Baszler has discussed her hopes for her and Ronda Rousey’s WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship reign.

Baszler and Rousey won the vacant title on the May 29 edition of Raw, before unifying the WWE and NXT women’s tag titles after defeating Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn on the June 23 episode of SmackDown.
Speaking on WrestleRant, Baszler stated that she wants to defend the championship regularly across all three brands, not just as a one-off.

Wanting to dominate the Raw, SmackDown and NXT women’s divisions, Baszler said:
“That’s been a thing I’ve done as a Tag Team Champion previously, so I am ready to do it now. I think it’s an understanding, especially the singles title you have a lot more engagements to be called to.”
“I think the tag titles, if we are sitting here and talking about how we want them to be as prestigious as the singles titles, then we also have to understand that the responsibility is going to be the same as well.
“We are prepared to do all that.”

Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson previously teased a match with Rousey and Baszler, with Jackson suggesting on this week’s NXT that perhaps Lash’s big pump kick is in Ronda Rousey’s future.
Baszler and Rousey are set to defend their gold against Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan at Money in the Bank 2023.
Rodriguez and Morgan were champions prior to Baszler and Rousey’s win, and were forced to relinquish the gold in May due to injury.
