A WWE star has broken their silence after being named the youngest general manager in company history.

On this week’s NXT (January 23), history was made on what was already a staggeringly busy news day for the company.
Following a behind closed doors meeting that involved Shawn Michaels and William Regal – in what was his first appearance on WWE TV since returning from his stint in AEW; WWE star Ava was named the new the GM of the gold brand.
This saw the fourth-generation star etch her name as the youngest star to ever take such a role on WWE TV at the age of just 22-years-old.

Now, in reaction to the news Ava has taken to Twitter to address the appointment; welcoming the NXT audience into a “new era” saying:

Ava was of course not the only member of her immediate family to make headlines yesterday as it was also announced that her father Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson had officially joined the TKO Board of Directors.
