WWE NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has shared a pitch for a major match at WrestleMania 40 in April 2024.

Lynch is currently performing an interesting role in WWE, with the popular name currently holding the NXT Title, despite being a Raw talent.
As it turns out, Lynch still has her sights set on a match with the current champion of the Raw women’s division.
Speaking with USA Today, Lynch named WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley as a potential opponent for next year’s Show of Shows.

Teasing a Winner Takes All bout, Lynch said:
“Maybe it will be championship for championship, winner takes all. We’ll see.”

Lynch has previously found success in WrestleMania Winner Takes All bouts, notably defeating Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in the main event of WrestleMania 35 to win the Raw and SmackDown women’s titles.
A Lynch vs Ripley singles match has been teased on several occasions, with the two stars having a tense stare down on the December 5, 2022 edition of Raw.
Ripley recently commented on the possibility of this match, noting that she’d invite the challenge of Becky Lynch for WrestleMania 40.
