An AEW star from the Blackpool Combat Club has been pulled from an independent wrestling show due to ‘an injury’.
Good news and bad news for Wheeler Yuta fans in Bethlehem, PA who were hoping to see the star this weekend.
While he has been pulled from a wrestling match after having suffered ‘an injury’, he will be able to appear as scheduled the pre-show meet and greet.
The promoters behind the event Tweeted:
Unfortunately, @wheeleryuta has suffered an injury and is unable to compete this Sat @ STEELSTACKS SMACKDOWN II. We have, however, confirmed his participation in the pre-show Meet & Greet! Wheeler Yuta was last in action at AEW All Out where the Blackpool Combat Club duo teamed with Claudio Castagnoli to defeat Eddie Kingston and Katsuyori Shibata.
