According to the latest update, Jade Cargill could be headed to WWE from AEW ‘imminently’.

As reported overnight and earlier today, the belief is that Cargill is on her way out of AEW, with a clean loss to Kris Statlander that was taped on Wednesday after Dynamite for Friday’s Rampage likely being her last AEW match.
However, there were some question marks on exactly when Cargill will be able to join WWE as it was unknown when her AEW contract actually comes to an end.
PWInsider reported earlier today that Cargill’s contract is set to expire “as soon as this week”, and now there are more details.
According to Fightful Select, sources within WWE are of the belief that Cargill’s contract could be structured in a way that she could sign with WWE ‘imminently’.

Before any of this news even emerged publicly, Cargill potentially joining WWE was reportedly a topic of conversation backstage at Raw this past Monday.
As for backstage in AEW, after the match with Statlander, Cargill was reportedly greeted by other members of the locker room with hugs with an apparent tone of farewell.
While there ‘are many within the company’ that believe she’s headed to WWE, she has not explicitly said that as far as Fightful is aware.

According to the report she has told people that she may take time to focus on her family and/or the Texas Smoke, the softball team that she and husband MLB player Brandon Phillips own.
According to the report, Jade Cargill is represented by a team that engage in her business dealings talks.
One source indicated that the move isn’t financially motivated on Cargill’s part.

Just a week ago, Cargill said there was no other place she wanted to be but AEW.
