Major news came out of AEW last night, when it was reported that former AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill is set to leave the company.

Jade returned to the company on the September 10 episode of AEW Collision after losing her first match and TBS Championship to Kris Statlander at Double or Nothing in May.
A rematch between Jade and Statlander was announced for this week’s episode of AEW Rampage, which was taped after last night’s (September 13) AEW Dynamite.

The match may end up being Cargill’s last in AEW, as the belief among those in AEW is that she is set to leave the company to join WWE.
In an update from PWInsider, the belief is that Jade’s AEW deal is set to expire as soon as this week, and while there were discussions with her about staying, no new deal was ever agreed.

She is not slated for any other AEW appearances, and would be free to sign elsewhere if and when her deal expires.
Jade and Kris were said to have embraced and hugged following the end of their match on Rampage, which saw Statlander retain the title against Cargill.
Cargill was said to have been ‘teary-eyed’, but was then walked to the back by Mark Sterling after leaving the ring.
