Bryan Danielson has shared an update on his AEW contract situation ahead of his main event match with Swerve Strickland at All In London 2024.
On August 25, it will be Career vs. Title as Bryan Danielson takes on AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland in the main event of AEW’s anticipated All In London event from Wembley Stadium.
As well as the obvious stipulation that if Danielson loses he will retire from pro wrestling, there has been much speculation regarding The American Dragon’s future in AEW.
Danielson revealed several weeks ago on Dynamite that his contract with AEW expired on August 1, and now in an interview with Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, the former multi-time world champion has shared an update on his contract a week prior to All In.
Danielson confirmed to Fightful that he has still not signed a new AEW deal or agreed an extension of any kind, meaning he has been working since August 1 without any AEW contract whatsoever.
It was noted by Danielson that he and Tony Khan will explore options when the time comes, but as of now there has been no new agreement made.
JJA Sport Studio will provide any further updates on Danielson’s contract situation as/when they become available.
