A SmackDown star has drafted up a unique pitch to work with LA Knight in the future, claiming that the ‘Megastar’ needs his help to reach the next level in WWE.
Taking to Twitter, the ‘Aussie Icon’ Grayson Waller crafted a tweet that mimics those from accounts that repost news from wrestling reporters, suggesting that WWE officials are pitching Knight vs Waller so the 40-year-old can receive the ‘Grayson Waller rub’.
Waller also called back on his prior issues with Knight in NXT, suggesting that it was in fact their feud in NXT that set Knight on the path to superstardom.
Waller tweeted:
WWE officials are pitching for LA Knight to work with Grayson Waller. Knight needs the Grayson Waller Rub, similar to when Waller launched him into super stardom on the NXT brand.

Knight’s lack of push in WWE has been a real point of contention for fans online, who expected him to earn a United States Title match on last week’s SmackDown (July 21).
Instead, Rey Mysterio booked his spot in the #1 contender match against fellow LWO member Santos Escobar, which takes place on SmackDown this week from New Orleans, Louisiana (July 28).
While fans will have hoped that Knight’s loss would build to something bigger down the line, reports of the 40-year-old’s attitude causing management behind-the-scenes to be ‘on guard’ has led many to be concerned, even though it was said that Vince McMahon has grown into a fan of him.
