WWE stars cleanse 'curse' from championship

A pair of WWE stars have now held a ‘ritual’ to cleanse the curse from their championship belts following the title’s unfortunate history.

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship have been labelled as cursed by many fans following numerous reigns being cut short for many reasons, from injuries to stars walking out on the company with the gold.
Most recently the injury bug has been the biggest contributor to the unwelcome reputation of the belts, with Aliyah, Liv Morgan and Sonya Deville all falling to injury whilst reigning as champions.

Deville’s ACL injury most recently forced WWE’s hands in crowning yet another new set of champions, with Scottish star Piper Niven forcefully aligning herself with Chelsea Green, taking Deville’s place in the team.
Now, in an attempt to prevent any further bad luck, Green and Niven took to TikTok and Twitter respectively to show off their supernatural approach to reversing the fortunes of the belts.

Green’s initial upload to TikTok saw Niven wiping the belts with ‘sage spray’ among over preventative measures, however, Niven would later follow that up by taking things even further.
Taking to Twitter, Niven revealed that Green’s TikTok was only the half of the ritual, uploading photos of her title surrounded by candles, taking things a step further as insurance.
