WWE could be planning a big change to its Premium Live Event business in 2024 following the launch of TKO Holdings Group.

On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, TKO Group Holdings was founded, bringing WWE and UFC officially under the same umbrella.
Dave Meltzer has revealed the plans that WWE may have for pushing their PLE business on Wrestling Observer Radio, saying
“We’ll be seeing a lot more of WWE trying to get cities to bid for at least the big shows – I mean the goal is for all 12 pay-per-view shows – but right now, I think the goal is four or five for next year, and maybe more as time goes on, as UFC is doing as well.”

It had previously been reported that Puerto Rico paid WWE $1.5 million dollars to bring Backlash to the country.
It was also reported that the Welsh government paid almost $3 million for Clash at the Castle last year.

WWE recently revealed that the 2024 Royal Rumble will take place on Saturday, January 27 at Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay, Florida.
