Current champion branded as the 'wish version' of ex-WWE star

On Monday’s (October 16) episode, Piper Niven defeated Natalya, before she and Chelsea Green attacked Natalya after the final bell.

Tegan Nox then came out to make the save, pushing Green out of the ring, and working with Natalya to get rid of Niven.

Nox shared a clip of this segment on Twitter, to which Niven replied:

This was a shot at Nox’ injury history, with the popular star suffering several ACL injuries while with WWE.

In Nox’ reply, she argued that Niven is a cheap knockoff of another star, writing:

Nox and Niven both featured on Tuesday’s edition of NXT, with Nox losing to Lyra Valkyria after she was distracted by the Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Niven holds the title alongside Chelsea Green, with the Scottish star replacing the injured Sonya Deville back in July.
