A WWE star has reflected on the past year including a devastating injury and not knowing if they were legitimately ‘done’ in wrestling.

While Nathan Frazer had a period of time without matches in NXT, he has now revealed that not only was he injured at last year’s Halloween Havoc premium live event, but how serious the injury was.
Reflecting on the past year including an injury that required seven months to recover, Frazer wrote:

“One year ago today I competed in my very first WWE PLE, a ladder match for the vacant NXT North American Championship at Halloween Havoc. I was ready to go absolutely nuts and show the world exactly who I was. And I did just that… but it came at a price.
“I lost 7 months of my career following this match, and I’ll be honest there were times in my recovery where I legitimately thought I may be done.
“Turns out, I’m not even close to being done. Every single time I step back in a wrestling ring since that night is a godsend. So for that and every other blessing in my life, I’m so grateful.”

Nathan Frazer has made a big return to in-ring action, not only winning matches but also impressing with his viral moments on NXT.
Still in the hunt for NXT gold, Nathan Frazer did capture the Heritage Cup after defeating Oro Mensah who subbed in for an injured champ Noam Dar.
But as Dar declined to recognize Frazer’s win, he continued to carry his own faux Heritage Cup, asserting that he was still the champ.
However later when Dar and Frazer competed in a match to determine the true Heritage Cup champion at NXT Heatwave, Dar reclaimed the championship.
