A WWE star has engaged in a back and forth with Logan Paul on social media following his latest appearance on the October 20 SmackDown.

After Paul’s recent boxing victory over MMA fighter Dillion Danis on October 14, the social media megastar caught the attention of the wrestling world as he called out United States Champion Rey Mysterio immediately following.
This led to a face-off between the two on SmackDown, where a match for said championship was agreed for WWE Crown Jewel on November 4.
While the pair didn’t get physical, Rey did seem to draw the concern of the LWO’s Santos Escobar when he chose to speak to Paul without any back-up.
Escobar, who already has a bit of history with Paul in this year’s Money in the Bank ladder match clearly wasn’t deterred from his disdain for the 28-year-old, despite Rey and Paul shaking hands in the ring.

Following the segment, Escobar didn’t mince his words when addressing Paul, saying on Twitter:

Unsurprisingly this drew a response from Paul, who seemed to welcome a future confrontation on WWE TV, answering:

Not intent on backing down from the invitation Escobar then responded:

Paul’s match with Mysterio will be his first since SummerSlam in August and only his second-ever chance at WWE Championship gold.
Crown Jewel 2022 was of course Paul’s only prior title contest, where he earned massive plaudits in his main event match with Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.
