A backstage update has shed light on how WWE’s creative has changed since the TKO merger with UFC was finalised on September 12.

With WWE’s creative seemingly going through many changes since Vince McMahon’s initial ‘retirement’ from WWE in July 2022, reports have suggested that things have began to calm down with Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel granting Triple H full creative control.
With Vince now said to be fulfilling his duties far away from WWE’s creative there has been almost no news of late script re-writes and lowered talent morale, which had become more common upon his return to the company in January.

Now, following up on the situation Fightful Select have spoken to talent in WWE, who have given an insight into the current state of the creative of the company now, in comparison to prior the TKO merger.
According to the report “things have been much more straightforward since the TKO merger” with the current setup more similar to how they were, “in the last half of 2022 as opposed to the first nine months of 2023.”

McMahon was spotted in Saudi Arabia last night at the Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou fight attending with the Undertaker, sat alongside Mike Tyson and Eminem.
WWE itself heads to Saudi Arabia next weekend for its first show there since the TKO merger – Crown Jewel, headlined by Roman Reigns vs LA Knight.
