There will be a change to a regular WWE commentary team for shows that will likely air over the next couple of weeks.
At last night’s November 7 NXT show, four matches for upcoming episodes of NXT Level Up were taped.
An interesting note on those matches was the commentary team, which was Vic Joseph and Blake Howard according to PWInsider.
The regular Level Up commentary team is Howard alongside Byron Saxton, while Joseph calls NXT TV alongside Booker T.
In news that may be related, Howard replaced Saxton for last week’s episode of WWE Main Event taped at Raw as well.
Again, perhaps relatedly, Saxton was on ring announcing duties for WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, November 4.
Without any spoilers for the results, the matches taped for Level Up were:
Gigi Dolin vs Stevie Turner, Mark Coffey & Wolfgang vs Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe, Dani Palmer vs Tatum Paxley, and Riley Osborne vs Tavion Heights.
