WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER has named Brock Lesnar as his ‘end boss’ in the company that he must face for validation in his career.
Speaking to Phil Strum of Under The Ring, The Ring General was asked what he felt a match with Lesnar would look like, to which he spoke of his desire to face-off with The Beast one day.
GUNTHER said:
“You never really know what you get with Brock. It’s definitely a match I want to have and I want to do.
“I feel Brock is somebody, I just make it my thing, I make him my personal End Boss.
“That’s the guy that, at one point, I have to step in the ring (with) to validate myself.”
A clash between GUNTHER and Lesnar ranks among WWE’s most-desired dream matches for many fans.
Despite WWE not yet pulling the trigger, we did get a tease of it happening at the 2023 Royal Rumble.
With Brock Lesnar’s next WWE appearance reportedly coming at the 2024 Rumble event, perhaps another opportunity may arise for the dreams to become a reality.
