In recent weeks, Nakamura has been talking to a mystery person in backstage segments, saying that he has been ‘waiting’ for them.
This, in conjunction with Nakamura hitting Ricochet with a GTS recently, has led to speculation that he is talking to CM Punk, who will face Nakamura at Survivor Series.
In an update from Fightful Select, talent in the company who were asked have said that they have not been told the context of Shinsuke’s callouts on the show.
