A WWE star has seemingly teased the return of a popular catchphrase that was recently banned due to trademark issues.

Following WWE Fastlane, and himself and Cody Rhodes’ infamous post-show press conference, Jey Uso’s ‘Yeet’ catchphrase began to get increasingly over with the WWE audience.
So much so that WWE looked to capitalise, producing merchandise with ‘Yeet’ plastered over it.
However, it was noticed by fans recently that WWE had blurred out Uso’s ‘Yeet’ t-shirt t when hyping up the main event match between Uso and Seth Rollins on this week’s Raw (December 4).

WrestleVotes would later confirm the reasoning behind this was in relation to a trademark issue, saying on Twitter:

While that seemed to spell the end of Uso’s chances of ever ‘Yeeting’ on WWE TV again, perhaps there is hope of a breakthrough based on a recent post from Uso on Instagram.
Taking to his Instagram story (see below), Uso posted a short video of himself making his entrance whilst wearing his official WWE ‘Yeet’ t-shirt, alongside a caption teasing the return of the catchphrase.

Uso said simply:
It’s Back…

While it seems like we could maybe be seeing ‘Yeet’ make it’s return to WWE based on the post, the lack of additional context means we will have to wait for further confirmation before knowing for sure.
