WWE star Charlotte Flair has been pulled from upcoming shows after suffering a legitimate injury on the December 8 edition of SmackDown.

Following Charlotte Flair’s match with Asuka on SmackDown, concern was raised when video footage emerged and it was reported that Flair had injured her knee.
While no specific details were known regarding the extent of the injury PWInsider noted that the 14-time world champion was tended to and helped to the back by WWE’s medical team after the match.

In a new update, again from PWInsider, it seems as if Flair was pulled from live events over the weekend due to the injury.
While there is still a lack of concrete information on the injury, the report does state that there are some in WWE that are “extremely concerned” that it could be “fairly serious.”

You can check out fan footage of the spot that may have caused Flair’s injury down below.
We will make sure to provide further updates on Flair’s injury status as and when they become available.
